In early 2019 my partner, myself and our two young children moved to Mission Beach, we had no plans, no house or anything lined up. All I knew was that this was my home, a child hood home that had stuck forever in my heart. My boys started school on the second day of us arriving in town so after school we walked down Wongaling Beach, all of us marvelling at the beautiful houses that were situated on the beach front with magnificent palm lined frontages. The glow of the afternoon sun, the warmth and smell of that tropical air and being here with my children, I knew I was home and I knew they felt the same. Now all I had to do was find us our own house amongst the palms…….
